1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Email Address – Collected during account registration via OAuth.
• Chat Data – User messages and AI responses are stored in our Supabase database.
• Device Information – Includes crash logs and device metadata collected via Sentry.
• Subscription Data – RevenueCat tracks subscription status, which is linked to the user's Supabase ID.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to:

• Provide and maintain Whiskerchat's services;
• Facilitate AI-generated conversations (using OpenAI and Gemini APIs);
• Monitor performance and debug issues (via Sentry);
• Manage subscriptions and entitlements;
• Ensure compliance with our Terms of Service;
• Analyze anonymized usage patterns to improve the app.

3. AI Services Disclosure

We utilize OpenAI and Gemini APIs to process your input and generate conversational responses. Your chat inputs are transmitted to these services for processing. While we do not label the AI in-app to maintain immersion, this processing is clearly disclosed in this Privacy Policy and in our App Store listing.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on Supabase servers located in the European Union. Chat data is not encrypted at rest. Access to user data is limited to authorized personnel for debugging and service improvement purposes. No method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained for as long as the user account is active. Deleted accounts and chat data are immediately removed from our primary systems, though third-party logs may persist according to their policies. Users can delete all data directly in-app through the provided deletion button.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data with the following services:

• Supabase – Database and authentication provider;
• RevenueCat – Subscription and billing manager;
• Sentry – Application performance and error monitoring;
• OpenAI and Gemini – AI response generators. Each service provider has its own privacy policy.
